Go to the Campaigns tab -> Select the campaign you want to modify -> Go to the category 'Automatic invites’.
If you have not created an automated invite yet, click ‘Add invite’. If you did, check below in the list of invites and click on the invite you wish to adjust.
You can choose to use a ‘Yes/No invite’ or a “Chatwindow invite’.
This type of automated invite allows you to type a greeting message or question. The visitor is able to press buttons to accept or decline starting a chat conversation.
Chatwindow invite (recommended)
This type of automated invite is a greeting message when the chat window pops up. The chat is then initiated when the visitor sends the message. We recommend this in order to prevent empty chats.
The moment when the automated invite proactively appears on the screen of the visitor is determined by the time frame of the invite. In order to set the time frame of your automated invite, you have to save the invite. Then it will appear in the list of invites. Click on the invite.
After clicking on the invite you click on ‘Add moment’.
Here you can fill in the criteria that determine when the visitor will be shown the automated invite. There are four different criteria that can be used in combination with each other:
- Current page; fill in the URL of the page that visitors need to visit to receive an automated invite.
- Previous page; fill in the URL of the previous page the visitor must have visited in order to receive the automated invite.
- Time on page; fill in the time (in seconds) the visitor must have visited the current and/or previous page in order to receive the automated invite.
- Time on website; fill in the time (in seconds) the visitor must have visited the website in order to receive the automated invite.
In the example below the visitor will receive the automated invite after being on the pricing page for 30 seconds, if the previous page visited was the use cases page.
